Dr Eleanor Jones leads this tour, revealing some of the hidden stories, artist approaches and curatorial decisions presented in Queer British Art 1861-1967.
Eleanor Jones is a doctoral candidate at King’s College, London and Tate. Her thesis centres on sexuality, queerness and race in early twentieth century British art, with a focus on painters such as Duncan Grant and Edward Burra, photographers such as Barbara Ker-Seymer and Angus McBean, and performers such as Les Ballet Negres.
