This season’s Story Space Family Day is inspired by the sights and sounds of new Tate publication Fadya and the Song of the River by author Laura Nsafou and illustrator Amélie-Anne Calmo.
Do you hear it?!
- Hear author and educator Nate Holder talk about instruments from Mauritania to Mali in Story Space at 11.00
- Meet Laura and Amé in Story Space for a read aloud and draw-along at 14.00 (BSL interpreted)
- Listen out for sounds from Kinetika Bloco in the galleries throughout the day
- Join artist India Harvey for a creative adventure in Play Studio and the galleries at 11.00
Laura and Amé's read aloud and draw-along in the Story Space at 14.00 will be BSL interpreted.
Tate Britain's step-free entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.
There is a lift between the Lower and Main floors. Alternatively you can take the stairs.
- Accessible and standard toilets are located on the Lower floor.
- A Changing Places toilet is not currently available.
- Ear defenders can be borrowed from the ticket desk on the Lower floor.
