Taking inspiration from the work in JMW Turner with Lamin Fofana: Dark Waters, printmaker Colette Whittington will help you to develop your own bespoke print. You'll learn and experiment with monoprinting and will explore drawing and mark-making in mixed media focusing on the subject of the landscape. You'll draw a design, paint or stencil onto a perspex plate and transfer it to paper by hand and press methods.
This course is designed to be a relaxed and fun introduction to painterly monoprint, inspired by the exciting works exhibited. No previous print experience is necessary. All skill levels are welcome.
