Following the success of projects such as Art Gym and O.K.– The Musical, Dr Michael Birchall curator of public practice at Tate Liverpool and senior lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University, will explain the importance of socially engaged art and will provide an insight into Tate Liverpool’s work with local communities.
