Keyword Exchange Tours With Shannon Jackson

Tour the Switch House and imagine new languages for describing works in the collection

Join members of Tate staff, alongside theorist Shannon Jackson, to explore new and old terms for describing contemporary art and artistic experience. Tours meet by the Turbine Hall ticket desk and cover a range of displays in the Switch House.

Keyword Exchange Tours

12.00 Laurence Van Der Noordaa (Keyword: Relational). This is an audio described tour.

12.30 Vassilis Oikonomopoulos (Keyword: Live). This tour will focus on Philippe Parreno’s Anywhen, the Hyundai Commission in the Turbine Hall.

13.00 Gerry Moore (Keyword: Performativity)

13.30 Bernard Horrocks (Keyword: Participation)

14.00 Ksenia Belash (Keyword: Relational)

14.30 Judith Wilkinson (Keyword: Improvisation)

While the Keyword Exchange Tours are taking place, Tate Library staff will offer a display exploring the term Ephemerality from 12pm to 5pm in Tate Exchange (Level 5, Switch House). The display will feature a selection of printed ephemera from the Tate Library collection, including private view cards, postcards, fliers and posters, as well as artists’ books and multiples.
